To import your website from another hosting to your Plesk account, follow the instructions below:
- Click Websites & Domains;
- Click on Import Website on the dashboard under the Tools dev category;
- At this point you have two ways to do this:
1. Simple mode: - Under import content, fill in the source domain name field with the domain name of the source website;
- Under Hosting access, fill in the User name and Password fields (FTP/SSH access);
- Under Content transfer options, click on OK
2. Advanced mode:
- Click on the Switch to advanced mode link;
- Under import content, fill in the domain name and full URL of the source website and leave the Source Document Root field blank for automatic path detection ( or enter the path from FTP/SSH);
- Under Hosting access, choose the connection type (FTP / SSH);
- Specify the User name and Password;
- Specify the Start path for file analysis in the file root field;
- Leave the field How to get the file list set to Automatic;
- Click OK to complete the import.
